When & Why Did You Start Creating Jewelry?

Well, I live on Kauai & if you've ever taken a trip here, you know how much it rains..which is A LOT! One rainy day, in 2018, I started making jewelry for fun & it stuck. I went on to take some classes and got so inspired I created 8 original pieces.

What Inspires Your Creativity?

I've always been a creative person, but making jewelry has brought the most creativity out of me. I'm constantly thinking of people in my life who would wear certain pieces, or how I can turn my favorite outdoor places into timeless accessories.

What's your favorite part about running a business?

I love the buying process, putting the pieces together & seeing them on clients! So basically everything :)

Tell me about the design process..

I've always had an eye for gold so most of my pieces are gold. I drill, texturize the metal & wire wrap all of my pieces.

Where do you source your pearls?

I use pearls from all over the world & a variation of colors & sizes. All of my pearls are naturally colored.

what's your favorite way to style Sara K Jewels?

I love to layer my pieces & wear them with a bikini, classic levi's & a beach hat..Duh! Don't get me wrong though, I also love pairing earrings & a braclet with a L.B.D. on date night. No matter what I'm wearing my jewelry are the pieces that make me feel 'me'. I live in my Sara K Jewels & I'm always being complimented. Women love timeless staples they can wear with everything.. & that's why I made them!
